Carrie had one shot at it. As a single mother with two small children, she knew selling real estate was a “do or die” situation for her. There was never time to look back, to be afraid or to make mistakes. In 1983 she was first licensed in Florida and went to work with an aggressive Century 21 office that she later ended up purchasing! When students ask her what made her successful as a new agent, she loves to tell the story of listening to her broker and doing exactly what he taught her to do. That was in the days when wearing gold jackets and vests made a Century 21 agent stand out like a sore thumb, and you can’t help but laugh as she relays her antics from those early days in the real estate industry. Carrie Hughes loves people, and she is passionate about the practice of real estate, so what could be more natural than for her to evolve into a real estate trainer? She went back to school at the age of 42, and it took her 15 years to get her Bachelors of Science Degree in Workforce Education & Development. Never one to renege on a challenge and lose sight of a goal, that degree validated Carrie’s life experiences as one of the best trainers around! |

Carrie Hughes is a seasoned Trainer. She is a South Carolina certified Real Estate Instructor with experience in teaching pre licensing, post licensing, continuing education, and broker classes, and a member of the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA). Carrie is also a National Association of Realtors REBAC instructor.
In addition, she is a DREI Candidate and hopes to receive that coveted designation by 2008. With the DREI designation, her experience in listing and selling, and her Degree in Workforce Education and Development, Carrie’s credentials speak for themselves.
